About this Pikachu
The card
Pikachu 160/159 is the only secret card in the main set of Crown Zenith, the last special expansion of the Sword & Shield series, released on 20 January 2023. It is an etched Full Art by You Iribi. Around Pikachu are Pokémon from popular cards of the series' first two years, among them Crowned Sword Zacian, Gigantamax Rapid Strike Urshifu and Inteleon.
The card first came out in Japan, as a promo in the made-to-order Precious Collector Box, which shipped at the end of 2022. Its text is that of the Pikachu in the Pokémon GO set: 70 HP, and Wild Charge for 90.
Crown Zenith
Crown Zenith was only sold in special products, never in booster boxes. Besides its 159 main cards and this one secret Pikachu, it has the 70-card Galarian Gallery. That has a Pikachu of its own, GG30, which is a different card.
The grade
PSA graded this copy 9, Mint: a superb card that may show one minor flaw, such as a slight printing imperfection or slightly off-white borders. Only Gem Mint 10 is higher. The cert can be checked on PSA's website.
