About this Charizard
The card
Charizard 005/032 is an uncommon from the PokéKyun Collection, a Japanese concept pack released on 29 January 2016. The art is by Akira Komayama and closes a story told over three cards. It begins on the Charmander (003/032), where a young boy is teased by his mischievous Charmander, and continues on the Charmeleon (004/032), where the older boy and his Charmeleon are deep in conversation. Here the boy has become a young man, and his Charizard shields him from the snow.
Where the Pokédex entry would be, the card has a line of its own, which the English print translates as: "No matter what happens, if we stick together, we can get past it. Forever and ever." It is a 160 HP Fire Pokémon with two attacks: Recall, which uses an attack from one of its previous Evolutions, and Combustion Blast, for 130, an attack that first appeared on Charizard-EX in Flashfire.
The PokéKyun Collection
The set has 32 cards, sold in packs of four instead of the usual five, and every card has a glossy finish with a holofoil inset. In English it became the Radiant Collection of Generations, released on 22 February 2016 for Pokémon's 20th anniversary, where this Charizard is RC5/RC32. This copy is from the 1st Edition run: Japanese sets were printed in 1st Edition from 2001 until 2016.
The grade
PSA graded this copy Gem Mint 10, the top of its scale: a virtually perfect card, with sharp corners, sharp focus and its full original gloss. Look up cert 92504835 on PSA's website.
