About this Charmeleon
The card
Charmeleon 004/032 is a common from the PokéKyun Collection, a Japanese concept pack released on 29 January 2016. The art is by Akira Komayama and is the middle of a story told over three cards. On the Charmander (003/032) a young boy is teased by his mischievous Charmander. Here the boy is older, his Charmander has evolved, and the two are deep in conversation. The story ends on the Charizard (005/032).
Where the Pokédex entry would be, the card has a line of its own, which the English print translates as: "My precious friend who is always with me. I have so many things I want to tell you." It is a 90 HP Fire Pokémon with two attacks: Call for Support, which searches the deck for a Supporter card, and Slash, for 80.
The PokéKyun Collection
The set has 32 cards, sold in packs of four instead of the usual five, and every card has a glossy finish with a holofoil inset. A month later, on 22 February 2016, it came out in English as the Radiant Collection in Generations, where this Charmeleon is RC4/RC32. This copy is from the 1st Edition run: Japanese sets were printed in 1st Edition from 2001 until 2016.
The grade
PSA graded this copy Gem Mint 10, the top of its scale: a virtually perfect card, with sharp corners, sharp focus and its full original gloss. Look up cert 92504834 on PSA's website.
