About this Poke Kid
The card
Poké Kid 197/190 is the Full Art version of the Supporter in Shiny Star V, a Japanese high class pack released on 20 November 2020. It is a secret card, numbered above the set's 190, with art by Sanosuke Sakuma. The Full Art shows a girl Poké Kid; the regular print, from the Sword & Shield base set, shows a boy and is drawn by Hitoshi Ariga.
The Japanese name, ポケモンごっこ, means something like "make-believe Pokémon". The card does one simple thing: search your deck for a Pokémon, show it and put it into your hand.
Shiny Star V
With 330 cards, 190 plus 140 secret cards, Shiny Star V was the largest Japanese set when it came out, and it is best known for its shiny Pokémon. Outside Japan it became Shining Fates, released in February 2021, where this card is 070/072.
The grade
PSA graded this copy Gem Mint 10, the top of its scale: a virtually perfect card, with sharp corners, sharp focus and its full original gloss. The cert can be checked on PSA's website.
