About this Mewtwo
The card
Mewtwo 51/108 comes from XY Evolutions, released on 2 November 2016 for Pokémon's 20th anniversary. Evolutions remade the Base Set cards in the Base Set card style, and nearly every card in it uses the original artwork from the classic sets. This Mewtwo is based on the Base Set holo, Mewtwo 10/102 from 1999, and like it is credited to Ken Sugimori.
It is not a straight copy. The 1999 card had 60 HP; this one has 130, with the attacks Psychic and Barrier, and a new Pokédex text: "A Pokémon whose genetic code was repeatedly recombined for research. It turned vicious as a result."
The reverse holo
In booster packs this Mewtwo is a non-holo rare. This copy is the reverse holo, with plain foil across the card around the artwork. Most XY-era sets gave their reverse holos a pattern of Energy symbols; Evolutions did not.
The grade
PSA graded this copy 9, Mint: a superb card that may show one minor flaw, such as a slight printing imperfection or slightly off-white borders. Only Gem Mint 10 is higher. The cert can be checked on PSA's website.
