About this Mewtwo GX
The card
Mewtwo GX 39/73 is the regular holo print of the Mewtwo-GX in Shining Legends, the special Sun & Moon expansion released on 6 October 2017. The art is by 5ban Graphics, the artists at Creatures Inc. known for their three-dimensional Pokémon. The same Mewtwo-GX was also printed as a Full Art (72/73) and a Rainbow Rare (76/73); this is the one in the regular frame.
It is a 190 HP card that ends in Psystrike-GX: 200 damage that ignores any effects on the opponent's Active Pokémon.
Shining Legends
Shining Legends was never sold in booster boxes; its packs only came inside special products. The set is named after its Shining Pokémon, cards that show a Pokémon in its rare shiny colours. In Japan it came out in July 2017, timed to the 20th Pokémon film, and gathered Legendary and Mythical Pokémon from the films.
The grade
PSA graded this copy 9, Mint: a superb card that may show one minor flaw, such as a slight printing imperfection or slightly off-white borders. Only Gem Mint 10 is higher. The cert can be checked on PSA's website.
